Aus Köln Grüße!  This photo was taken in 1960 in Köln (Cologne), Germany,
with a <a href="https://www.brownie-camera.com/27.shtml">Brownie Hawkeye</a>
box camera on Kodak 620 film (6cm&nbsp;square negatives, about 2&frac14;").
The glossy 4"&times;4" print was scanned on a Hewlett-Packard Scanjet G4050
to a JPG file in 2017.  The <a href="PARAMS">PARAMS</a> file for this
gallery does not contain a 'charset' parameter, so Photogallery looked at
the contents of this text file, <a
href="koelncathedral.txt">koelncathedral.txt</a> and determined that (unlike
<a href="index.txt">index.txt</a>) the German phrase at the beginning of
this text is encoded in ISO-8859-1 (Latin Alphabet&nbsp;1), rather than
UTF-8 like the Index file.  So even though this page and the <a
href="index.html">index page</a> have different text encodings they both
