One of two compositions contributed by Mosholu Library kids, a montage of images from the 1930s, including the Bronx Bombers lineup (plus some ringers), Shirley Temple, the 1937 World's Fair in Paris, and King George VI of Nigeria. In the Paris expo photos at middle left and middle right, you can see the legendary faceoff between the German (Nazi) pavilion (left) and the Soviet Pavilion (right), which is topped by the world-famous Kolkhoznitsa statue.
