Riverside Park. From 101st Street to 108th Street, the lower level (seen here from the upper level) is a series of athletic fields. Until recently they were just as the WPA left them — natural grass and earth — but now they're all Synthetic Turf Fields (“This field can get hot on warm, sunny days”).
